The
Kentucky EPSCoR
Program
builds statewide
infrastructure that promotes national research competitiveness.
Kentucky’s scientists and engineers have won awards from
all of the federal EPSCoR programs for which the state is
eligible. The
Statewide Program’s impact is far reaching.
Hundreds of faculty and students at 13 colleges and
universities in the Commonwealth have participated in EPSCoR projects.
Moreover, the EPSCoR Program has channeled over $313 Million in
R&D funding (the majority being federal funding) to the
Commonwealth's academic community since its inception.

Collaborative Research Development
Programs (CRDP) Grants
In fiscal year
2007, there were five active CRDP Awards totaling just over
$116,000. These awards are made to KY researchers who are
collaborating to pursue research center awards from federal
sources.
